Portugal’s Golden Visa : A Progress Report

7 Years since it was first launched the Portugal Golden Visa has proven to have a steady demand over the years.  2017 recorded 1351, 2018  recorded 1409 and as at end of Oct 2019 the current number of main applicants granted a Golden Visa in Portugal is at 1099 (1318 is the forecast for Dec 2019). Is this merely a seasonal dip or is 2019’s performance indicating a downward trend of what’s to come in 2020?
